Five Nights at Freddy's is a survival horror video game played through simple point and click. Player’s goal is to try to survive five nights at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, tracking animatronic animal robots' movements via security cameras so as to avoid getting caught and murdered by the robots.
The five nights that players have to survive stands for five different difficulty levels. During the five nights, players monitor security cameras positioned throughout the restaurant from the office and find the robots who aren't in the right place. With the roaming of the animals, dimmed lights, insufficient cameras and limited energy, the game gives players a sense of feeling that they are the main character surrounded by horrors in a terror movie.
Features:
- Phone Guy's messages: Listen carefully to the phone guy. As the nights go on, the Phone Guy's messages will be shorter. The Phone Guy records his last message on the fourth night.
- Different animatronic animal robots: There are four animatronics: Chica the Fox, Foxy the Pirate Fox, Golden Freddy, and Bonnie the Bunny.
- Security cameras: You can monitor an array of security camera feeds from your control room to track animatronic animal robots' movements.
- Limited energy: You have a limited power supply for every night. Freddy can catch you if you run out of electricity.
- Custom Night: After passing all the six levels, the "Custom Night" level will become available where you can adjust each character's difficulty level.
Is the game Five Nights at Freddy's suitable for preteen players?
The game is rated 12+, so it may not be quite suitable for preteen players. The game may contain content not appropriate for all ages, including blood, gore, and violence typically associated with the horror genre.
